After years of buzz, intrigue, and excitement, Convergence Station is now open in Denver. This surreal, interactive art installation was created by Meow Wolf, an artist collective that started in Santa Fe. The group specializes in immersive experiences, and their exhibitions (Convergence Station is the third permanent installation) feature dozens of rooms and spaces for you to explore, and you’ll feel as if you’ve walked into a kaleidoscope — or another dimension altogether. Enjoy it all as art, solve hidden puzzles, and piece together the cryptic, non-linear narrative behind it all.
Convergence Station itself took three years to create, with art from 300 creatives (more than 100 from Colorado). The concept focuses on the Quantum Department of Transportation (QDOT), which allows travelers to cross between four collided worlds, where you can try to make sense of all the memories that have been scattered. Lose yourself in the psychedelic, mind-bending visuals and explore the fascinating science-fiction storyline.
This 4-story exhibition is home to 70+ unique installations, rooms, and portals and is open from 10am to 10pm on Sunday through Thursday, and 10am to midnight on Friday and Saturday.
